These are photos from our last outing together:
Marketing
The plastic bins hold jello and tapioca balls

This time with Liana was such a relief and a blessing in many ways. It was a time of rest and great enjoyment for me. She helped me learn how to bargain better, which we made into our main activity at the markets.
Little boy napping in his parents stall
A few weeks before this visit to the market there had been a fire there. I had been to the market before the fire and it was sad to see the empty areas and the great damage.

We took a break from the heat in Mcdonalds for our favorite snack, a coke float
This group of filipinos were playing bingo, except they didn't have any chips so they used uncooked pasta pieces instead
This section of the market holds mostly food
Gulay and frutas (vegetables and fruit) such as kangkong (a leafy lettuce) and kalamonsi (sort of like a lime)

Or not
The filipino staple: fish

I never did try a purple egg

We finished the day with shopping at the mall and lunch at Pizza Hut
